An introduction to the new Stampin’ Up! 2021-2023 In Colours
INFORMATION/TUTORIAL – 2 FOR 1 TODAY!
The new In Colours are available in ink pads, ink refills, cardstock (A4 & 12×12), stampin’ write markers, stampin’ blends, designer series paper, ombre gift bags, adhesive backed gems and more.
I thought it could be useful to see our newest colours alongside some colours you already know and love so I created this comparison table. Hopefully this lets you visualise where they sit in rainbow of colours available from Stampin’ Up!.

When new In Colours are launched each year (each group is around for 2 years) I like to make a project using the new 5 colours to get used to them and I took the opportunity to try a new technique I had been eager to try for the first time as well. Here is what I created….

Inspiration for this came from a project I had seen from a Stampin’ Up! Artisan Team Member Emma Goddard a few years ago using a different ink product and stamp set no longer available. But I was confident I could create something similar with the stash I had and our new In Colours.
- Notecard base size folded 3 1/2 x 5
- Black matt layer 3 x 4 1/2
- Water colour paper layer 2 3/4 x 4 1/4

First I cut the water colour paper. I stamped the poppies in versamark ink down the left hand side added the copper embossing powder and heat with the heat tool.
I then had some fun (and got a little messy) I lightly pressed the chosen ink pad onto a third of my clear block (size E). I then gave this a few sprays of water with my spritzer. Held the block to make the ink run a little and then pressed this onto my watercolour paper and left it to dry before layering onto my black matt layer and mounted onto the notecard base.
My greeting was also heat embossed in copper onto black card

Love these cards. I love that technique with the inks. Makes ink even more versatile. Beautiful colours palate too.
Love you blog.
Can’t believe I was ok with getting ink on my hands! So much fun. Thank you my lovely friend xx
